Playtech, the leading international designer, developer and licensor of software and services for the TV, online, land-based and mobile gambling industry, has revealed that it has become the first platinum member whose business is mostly based on online gaming, of the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) international trade group.
The new membership will see Playtech join several other companies in defining global gaming standards. The Gaming Standards Association promotes the development, implementation and promotion of standards so as to enable education, innovation and communication in the global gaming industry.
Playtech brings its vast experience in online, mobile and retail gaming across a huge range of products that include casino, poker, bingo and games with its technology used to control over 30,000 gaming machines and 50 casinos.
Playtech’s Information Management Solution also operates as an open platform integrating with any third party provider content. It is also a proven expert in regulated markets operating in several countries which include the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Finland and will soon enter the Dutch market with Holland Casino.
Shay Segev, Playtech’s Chief Operational Officer stated that Playtech brings its vast experience to Gaming Standard Association and they are thrilled to join them as a platinum member.
Peter DeRaedt, a spokesperson for Gaming Standard Association revealed that by Playtech joining the association it will be a driving force supporting their crucial plan and ensuring the association’s continued relevance in the industry.
